Project Scope

The project involved the refurbishment and renovation of all of the operating theatres, enhancements to the main entrance and courtyard at the BMI Bath Clinic. This included the installation of a significant amount of new M&E equipment on the main building’s roof, as well as various structural enhancements to support the new installations. There were significant structural challenges to overcome to prove the existing single storey concrete structure could accept the significant increase in loading from the new M&E equipment.
