Project Scope

Having been involved with the original IAAPS development completed in 2019 at our previous employer, we have continued to work with the IAAPS team and the University of Bath on additional facilities on the site. This project involved the design required to accommodate the installation of a new cryogenic tank for liquid hydrogen storage, along with a tanker bay and associated external works for delivery vehicles. The project also includes the construction of a 22m high vent stack for emergency venting of hydrogen and a non-combustible 3m high wall surrounding the tank compound to protect the building and pedestrian pathway in the event of a hydrogen fuel ignition.
