Project Scope

The project involved the extensive remodelling and refurbishment of the Grade II listed former Pineapple Pub. The proposed scheme for the site was to provide up to eight 1-2 bedroom apartments over 4 storeys. The plan form of the 17th – 19th century parts of the original pub was to be retained with adjustments to the roof to make the currently disused space functional. The project was to also include the excavation to the south of the west cellar to create a terrace, bringing natural light into the space, and create a stair to provide access from the 1st floor to gardens at the rear. Additionally, the existing floor level in the rear cellars would be lowered by up to 0.7m to increase headroom. The Project never reached site as the property was sold on and developed by others.
