Project Scope

The project involved the design and construction of a new retail unit within St Nick’s Covered Market. The unit is a single-storey structure of lightweight timber construction, fully covered by the market’s roof structure. The walls are made of timber studwork with large extents of glazing, and the roof is sheeted in plywood with a single ply membrane finish. The structure bears onto the existing flagstone floor of the market.
