Temporary Works – Jolly’s Department Store, Bath

We’re pleased to be supporting Bray & Slaughter in the restoration of the historic Grade II listed Jolly’s department store on Milsom Street, Bath — delivering temporary works design for the façade and roof improvement works.

Jolly’s is one of Europe’s oldest department stores, with a heritage stretching back over 200 years. The site on Milsom Street first opened as a store in 1831, having originally been a row of Georgian townhouses before being converted to retail use at ground level.

It’s a privilege to contribute to the preservation of this iconic local landmark — a building that’s long been woven into the fabric of Bath’s shopping and architectural history.
