Skeletal Consulting Engineers were formed in 2020 and we have quickly grown to 15 staff and are working on large scale Civil and Structural Engineering projects throughout the logistics, data centre, education, healthcare, defence, commercial, industrial/process and leisure sectors. We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join our collaborative and growing team and lead the successful delivery of high-quality projects from concept through to completion. Ideally you would have some experience in the logistics, data centre or industrial/process sectors, although this is not critical and a willingness to learn and the right attitude are the key things we are looking for
The Role
- Lead structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project delivery, programme, fees and technical quality.
- Undertake and oversee structural analysis and design activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project teams.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians.
- Support business development and client relationship management.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards Chartership).
- Significant structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
